or lonely death refers to a Japanese phenomenon of people dying alone and remaining undiscovered for a long period of time.







HIKIKOMORI- ひきこもり or 引きこもり which literally means "pulling inward, being confined", is an acute social withdrawal. Hikikomori have been described as loners or "modern-day hermits".
